NIHR Global Health Research Centre for Non-communicable Diseases and Environmental Change Indonesia is currently seeking a Research Fellow to join our interdisciplinary research team based at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia.
This position plays a pivotal role in supporting research activities focused on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and the impacts of environmental change, particularly in the context of climate-sensitive health challenges. The Research Fellow will contribute to study planning, data analysis, community engagement, and the preparation of scientific publications.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of research projects;
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings for research purposes;
- Collect, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data;
- Draft research reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve research objectives;
- Stay updated with the latest public health trends and methodologies;
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and institutional standards.
🎓 Eligibility and Qualifications
- Master’s (S2) or Doctoral (S3) degree in Public Health;
- Strong analytical and research skills, including experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, STATA, R, NVivo);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience in research grant writing, program evaluation, community health initiatives, and prior publications in relevant fields.
